on and on 04:24
every time we breathe in we breathe in a part of every time somebody else exhaled right in the same place all these ghosts fill up our lungs their stories on a journey through our skin into our blood on and on and on feel them coursing through your veins & all around on and on and on wherever you go, they go hand in hand we are all just trying to make sense of people dying people being born and what comes after breakfast if I'd been born a while ago I think I could have made great sense roaming through the prairie with the buffalo on and on and on loose your balance but keep waltzing round and round on and on and on 'mongst pots and pans there's comfort to be found. oooh and all I wanna know is that I won't have to go without the chance to pass on some of what's been running strong in my blood and I guess that in the end all that we need is a little luck no path is ever straight we do the best that we can.

storm 04:21
all I ever wanted is for the swaying faces on my wall to 'come real gently shifting left than right holding hands, one day to simply step out of the shade and come alive the flowers on my carpet too would be flying round and round the room whilst the old men in my ceiling nod their heads all I ever wanted is to be tough like a grain of sand in your hand just the essence of a rock-but stuck between your teeth, good luck trying to get it out yet banks of sand just like a bed a quiet place to rest your head as the mountains meet the river meet the sea all I ever wanted i was told to seek outside my door and on from there road signs there were rather vague early morning sun made way for night and night brought storm now everywhere fly newspapers the politicians shake their heads as the headlines of today fade away.

songbirds 03:25
make this a thing of lightness or a fortress no one can take the thickest bush of brambles will host a flock of birds go ahead run into darkness sometimes we all want for some rest make sure to bring some matches though hold them closely to your chest for in there your songbirds are singing though your thicket it grows thicker by the year worms and seeds and crumbs to thrive it don't take much to keep an itty bitty songbird alive you keep busy growing briars it's time to stand your ground these days knifes all stacked at the ready tread very carefully-they say who would dare to tell you waging war never made no peace those battles just take it out of you when your heart could do with ease for in there your songbirds are singing though your thicket it grows thicker by the year worms and seeds and crumbs to thrive it don't take much to keep an itty bitty songbird alive sun sets on an empty desert inch by inch the ground sighs in relief all critters coming forth it's time. for in there your songbirds are singing though your thicket it grows thicker by the year worms and seeds and crumbs to thrive it don't take much to keep an itty bitty songbird alive

You say, you're sure you been here before constellation melt down same four walls mouse got trapped at your core you know deep down nothing ever stays the same. same. verdict's in face the lion's lair you gave it your all you lived your share credit is due for the things we dare outcome is neither here nor there. watch the waves keep rolling in the tide will ebb and flow though it may be different rivers tumbling down ocean will be ocean by the shore through deep dense woods, down stream on a moat rocky climbs and potholes in the road miles and miles of open land you gotta roam rivers will always guide you home watch the waves keep rolling in the tide will ebb and flow though it may be different rivers tumbling down ocean will be ocean by the shore one shot for what went wrong this moment's all i own one verse to this song the road ahead is long one foot deep in sand one foot firm on land one eye on our hands and one beyond the sky

out of orbit 03:07
I am a planet out of orbit and I am floating I am a planet out of orbit and I'm going going gone surely wish I knew where I was headed kinda got no clue at all all these glowing stars I been passing by just hanging, waiting for a fall I am a planet out of orbit and it is oh so quiet here soundlessly falling is there anybody near? round and round and round you see me spinning through a deep dark endless space hour after hour won't stop hoping to see another face

shot my man 03:14
I had a man oh but I shot him down shot him down, shot him down, shot him down. I'm not afraid I am still walking tall walking tall, walking tall, walking tall. he can't hold me when I'm sleeping he can't hold me now he can't hold me when I'm hurting he can't hold my hand. I shot a man, oh I shot a man shot a man, shot a man shot my man he was so purdy with his big coarse hands with his big coarse hands since he's gone I keep on walking walking till that day when our savior comes acallin' me to my own grave. I had a man oh but I shot him down shot him down, shot him down, shot him down. I'm not afraid I am still walking tall walking tall, walking tall, walking tall.

Laura you're crossing the ocean just water for hours and days I watch you make popcorn in your bright red bikini as you boat cuts through hundreds of waves oooooh I stood by the latter down in old Ballard where all the salmon return to battling on against the current some bite marked, some battered I wonder if they'll make it through oooooh and I hugged you as you climbed out of the water you shivered- the river was cold sometimes you just gotta fall into the water as long as we swim we don't fold so i tested and I prodded to make sure that where I'm headed is not gonna lead me astray I sailed the seven waters but no storm could sink me I'm ready now to call it a day.

now 05:26
all I say, all I say is now all I say, all I say is now maybe it's the end of the world the sky is falling down down down down down pushing, pushing without resistance is just falling push me, push me- let me fall, fall fall fall with me-follow me where mountains meet the river I lay my head soft moss on boulders for my bed I have a fondness for broken things and ravioli still taste best straight from the can you'll always find me tending fires even though I burn my hand take my hand my friend ooooh all I say, all I say is now. all I say it's okay to fall. step right on the back of the bike it's been a long long long long long long time hold on, hold on life is rushing through and round you forward, onward, down the road it's time to sleep and you are on your way and I am here to stay here's to marks, to scars and the stars above our heads feet under water, mind up in the sky grab some logs, focus slipping things get clearer by and by I never thought I'd waver I never wanted to have to say goodbye.
9.
wide open 03:02
I would like to know you would like to show you who I am I would like to barter a little harder if I can to understand arms wide open I've said and you've been saying at least we have been in my head no one had better take you from my side til I'm dead am I asleep eyes wide open I wish for more than choices a clear direction a map to go I've lived in many houses but there's always room to grow just point the way mind wide open
